Bid Management Services
Waterways provides a comprehensive range of services for tendering and bidding purposes. Client services include conceptual design, preparation of TORs, RFQ, and RFP. Waterways will assist the clients in the whole tendering process including bid evaluation, negotiations and contract award.
For project developers, our services include complete bidding package tailor made to suit the needs of the developer and its consortium members. We will liaise and coordinate with all the stakeholders including external parties such as lenders, client’s consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors. We set up a dedicated team of technical and financial experts to advise on bidding strategy and to carry out risk analysis and mitigation measures. If required, we can do an independent capex and opex estimate and carry out financial modelling.
Our Bid Review Services including design optimization, pricing strategy, and a review of the financial model to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Engineering Design, Design Review and Site Supervision for EPC Contracts
For EPC or Design and Build projects, Waterways offers traditional consultancy services including conceptual and detailed engineering, thorough review of process, mechanical, electrical, and civil design and supervision of construction, testing and commissioning. In addition, we provide Project Management and Head Office Support. Our experienced Resident Engineers and technical site team will ensure timely completion of projects in accordance with contract requirements.
Plant Performance Audits
Waterways offers detailed independent process audits on industrial effluent, sewage treatment, and RO desalination plants. Its experts visit and carry out a detailed onsite survey and submit an impartial audit report covering areas such as asset condition, risk analysis, plant behavior and performance under different operational regimes.
Performance Enhancement Studies
A detailed survey can highlight inefficiencies in the plant operation and distribution systems. There is usually a great potential to improve the efficiency of the plant and processes, increasing productivity and the bottom line.
Waterways through its O&M experts can carry out Enhancement Studies and suggest ways of improving plant performance, reducing energy costs, and increasing productivity. Dynamic modelling of water and wastewater treatment plants is carried out using latest software. Pressure control in water distribution networks is simulated using hydraulic modelling which enables background leakage to be controlled effectively.
We work with professional experts who have the necessary skills and experience required to provide businesses with an effective and quality assured service to match any of Client’s requirements and expectations.
Training
In association with leading UK institutions, Waterways can offer a range of high-quality Water and Sewage Treatment Training Courses specifically for engineers, utility managers and water treatment professionals.
